My 27 year old Filipina girlfriend took this picture tonight. She said, "when did you get this?" I laughed, said, "it's printed right on the front." And she was like, "Yeah, but when did......then this shirt is older than me!" That was November 12 & 13, 1981. Before I was ready for sleeping in Penn Station. I still needed Wayne as an escort back then.
And BTW, those are Digital TV rabbit ears - no more analog for me! But yeah, that is a used 32" CRT I bought on Ebay a few years ago. Finally moved up from the 20"!

And I just bought a Walkman tape player the other day - supposedly Sony just stopped making them in Japan - still making them in China the say.
My move - coming across old tapes in the process - hearing this Sony news - and that Apple - the Ipod company maybe buying the Walkman company - and the fact that I've got both an Aux and USB jack on my deck in the car inspired me.
Just listened to a bit of a 97' tape college radio edit tape - made me a little teary. You can capture some really cool stuff if you ignore the rest of the world.
