These three pics above are actually from around Ubud, the Sayan or Satan valley. I think some of the houses above on the left are part of a Four Seasons Resort. At the bottom of the valley I went for a swim. I had to pay an old woman $.50 to get past here wooden gate. She wanted a $1.00, but I beat her down by feigning that I'd sooner climb back up the hill than pay $1.00. Score one for the Americans! ;)

From Ubud to Tulamben

My place for two nights in Ubud, Warji House. The guy had 4 cottages just like this all together. $9, with breakfast and right off the main square in Ubud. Modern bath, nice big bed, goldfish pond. One night I thought I heard monkey or something that size on the roof. The Warj said it was probably a mouse. Right.
My bike parked outside the Warji House. Al wore that lame ass helmet, not me.

Lunch in Ubud. Awesome, as always. $1.50 with drink. Rice, fried chicken, green stuff had a Thai curry sauce in it, some fried veggie thing. The bomb.
