On Phangan, heading out to ride motobike to town.

Crutches, helmet, cast.
Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the bad knee uncovered. Just shows how crappy/tired I was feeling.

IV set up and June 6th Knee pics

Two saline hypos, 1 pressurized antibiotic bag. One hypo is connected to the tube and flushes the line, then I connected the antibiotic, which due to residing under high pressure, moves into the low pressure IV line, into me. Then I flush again with the 2nd saline hypodermic. Then pull the netting up. Repeat every day.

Pick line set up. The netting is used to roll up over the IV tubes to keep it all in place. Works well. I've got to keep all this bone dry, thus I've not had a regular shower in over a month.

Knee on June 6th, one week later. Considerably better, a lot more knobby(meaning not so inflamed/puffy), better extension, more range of motion, less pain.

My Right Knee as of May 31, 2008

The knee first became inflamed about May 1st. This is about 21 days after entering the hospital, 14 days after exiting. This is considerably recovered, as there is some "knobbyness" to the knee. Range of motion very limited, can't touch the ground as you can see.
