Oslo, Norway: November/December 2014

This stuff REALLY tastes like Aass!
 My dorm in Oslo...
Oslo downtown.  Not the beautiful part.

Selections at the Seven Eleven... i got a decent spinach calzone there for  like $6.00,
which is a good deal in Oslo.

Hitting the historic center of Oslo.

 TGIFridays...
 Hard Rock Cafe....

Balancing wire  near the water/docks in dowtown.
This was right in front of the Nobel Prize museum.

They had some really nice cutting edge architecture on the waterfront.

Cool boat docked in  front of a cool building. How cool?

 Note the sheepskins for warmth.
This residential stuff was just blocks from the fancy architecture and the historic downtown center.

Back closer towards downtown...

Xmas fair, just like in all the other cities. Very nice.

 French pay toilet statue art.

 Christmas  parade...

At Bla music club on Sunday night for the ensemble jam band. Very cool.  They had like 20 to 30 different people playing/singing. Usually 10 to 15 on stage at once.  Very eclectic.  Supposedly a 10 year tradition. And free.

Walking  home from Bla, my last night in Europe.

Hall of my sterile dorm, Anker Hostel, in Oslo.  $35/night.
Early train to Oslo Lufthavn for flight home via Zurich.
